Brad Estes joined Rapid City Commercial in early 2018 bringing 40+ years of experience in management of construction, hospitality and restaurant ventures.
Growing up in Wall, SD, Brad participated at an early age in the family’s construction and hospitality businesses. Along with partners, he developed numerous franchise hotels in South Dakota and Wyoming, and with a partnership of fellow Wall natives, built and operated the Gold Dust Casino and Holiday Inn Express in Deadwood for 19 years under the flag of Fpl House, Inc. He has also participated in many commercial and residential developments in South Dakota, Wyoming, Nevada and Arizona.
Brad began volunteering on committees in the early 1990’s and was a Board Member of the Central States Fair Board/Black Hills Stock Show for 10 years, serving as President for 4 years, respting in being inducted into the Stock Show Hall of Fame in 2013. From 2013 to 2017, Brad served as Councilman on the Rapid City Common Council for Ward 5 and as City Council President for two years. Brad continues to volunteer for different groups and committees in and around Rapid City.
Brad’s background in development, operations and local government provides clients with an invaluable perspective when considering commercial investment opportunities and development in Rapid City and the Black Hills.
