Chris began his career in Denver, CO as a research associate for The Meyers Group. During his time in this position, he led the new development research group and published monthly reports on sales trends and absorption rates in the local market.In 2003 he joined UDR, Inc., a national real estate investment trust focused on the multifamily sector. During his tenure with UDR, he held positions of financial analyst, operational strategist and 4 years as Director of Pricing and Revenue Management. Chris led a team in a nationwide rollout of yield management software for over 230 properties which led to industry wide adoption and industry leading revenue growth.After moving to South Dakota in 2010, Chris joined Sandra Runde and formed the only team in Western South Dakota solely focused on commercial real estate sales and leasing. Over the past 12 years, the KW Commercial team has led the market in both commercial sales and commercial leasing volume. In the last 3 years his team has sold and leased nearly $200 Million in real estate placing them #1 in the North Central Region and ranked in the top 10 for KW Commercial nationwide.
Brad Estes joined Rapid City Commercial in early 2018 bringing 40+ years of experience in management of construction, hospitality and restaurant ventures.
Growing up in Wall, SD, Brad participated at an early age in the family’s construction and hospitality businesses. Along with partners, he developed numerous franchise hotels in South Dakota and Wyoming, and with a partnership of fellow Wall natives, built and operated the Gold Dust Casino and Holiday Inn Express in Deadwood for 19 years under the flag of Fpl House, Inc. He has also participated in many commercial and residential developments in South Dakota, Wyoming, Nevada and Arizona.
Brad began volunteering on committees in the early 1990’s and was a Board Member of the Central States Fair Board/Black Hills Stock Show for 10 years, serving as President for 4 years, respting in being inducted into the Stock Show Hall of Fame in 2013. From 2013 to 2017, Brad served as Councilman on the Rapid City Common Council for Ward 5 and as City Council President for two years. Brad continues to volunteer for different groups and committees in and around Rapid City.
Brad’s background in development, operations and local government provides clients with an invaluable perspective when considering commercial investment opportunities and development in Rapid City and the Black Hills.
With 18 years of experience wearing many hats throughout her commercial real estate career, Gina started her real estate journey with corporate firm JLL as a brokerage coordinator for their Chicago industrial team, supporting their business development, supply chain consulting and site selection projects. After returning home to South Dakota, she joined KW Commercial in June of 2017 as marketing & listing coordinator, becoming familiar with Rapid City’s market and changing focus from business-to-business sales to direct-to-consumer marketing. Recognizing the steady growth of the area and the opportunity to make an impact, in 2021, Gina took the natural next step to leasing agent helping tenants and landlords lease commercial property in an increasingly competitive market.
Having grown up in the Black Hills, moving back was an easy choice for Dan after finishing his contract with the Army. During those years he served as a combat medic and was stationed in Germany and Colorado working primarily alongside infantry and military police units.Upon returning to Rapid City, he enrolled with Black Hills State University and recently graduated with a degree in Business Management. During this time, he also obtained his Real Estate License and began work with the Rapid City Commercial Team. He is eager to assist business owners and investors navigate their commercial real estate decisions and create win-win deals for both parties in a transaction.
Hannah has been a part of the Rapid City Commercial Team since 2018. She has taken on the role of Operations Coordinator and specializes in Transaction Coordination. Leveraging her administrative skills and a keen eye for detail she has helped the team excel in meeting the needs of their commercial real estate clients from contract to close. In February of 2022, Hannah received her South Dakota Real Estate license, allowing her to better serve clients.Hannah was born and raised near the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri but has called the Black Hills her home since moving here in 2010. She met and married a Hill City local and together they have two children. Before joining Rapid City Commercial, Hannah spent six years working at Rapid City Schools and Black Hills Works assisting people of all ages with special needs. She learned American Sign Language during that time, as well as took courses to develop braille classroom materials. Outside of work Hannah enjoys hiking, spending time with her family, and having friends over good food and board games.
